Kyung Kho, P.E. – LFG Caisson Well Design and Installation
Mr. Kho is a Senior Project Manager with more than 15 years of experience in the environmental and solid waste industries. Kyung holds a B.S in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a registered P.E. in Illinois. Kyung serves as a leader on Cornerstone’s Landfill Gas (LFG) Design, Permitting and Construction Management Technical Group.
Scott Miller – New NSPS/EG Regulations – Implementation and Compliance
Mr. Miller is a Project Manager and a key member of the air-compliance practice. He provides air quality, energy, and other environmental compliance services at landfill, industrial, and commercial sites. Scott is extensively experienced in: writing air-construction permit and Title V permit applications for landfill sites; developing New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) reports, developing project-specific emissions calculations and tracking models, interpreting and communicating complex regulations, and analyzing control equipment options.
Brian Stone – Innovative Landfill Stormwater Management
Mr. Stone is a Senior Project Manager with 17 years of consulting experience specializing in site design, environmental containment systems, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and design. Brian has a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University and is a Registered P.E. in New York. His landfill design experience includes liner and final cover system design and construction, operations support, leachate collection system design, geosynthetics design, and permitting. Additionally, Brian has significant hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience at landfills, designing open channels, storm sewers, culverts, stormwater detention and retention features, stormwater treatment features, erosion control products, and pump and piping systems.
Drew Lent – Solar Installations on Landfills
Mr. Lent is a Senior Project Manager with Tetra Tech since 2012. He has worked on more than 50 solar development projects in the Northeastern United States and elsewhere across the Country. Drew has worked on approximately 10 solar energy projects located on closed and capped landfills in various stages of development with an anticipated solar generation capacity of more than 25 MW. He is also familiar with the NYSDEC permitting requirements for developing solar energy projects on solid waste landfills. Prior to joining Tetra Tech Drew was an engineering geologist for approximately 12 years with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Solid Waste Program. Drew provided expert testimony on behalf of the State of New York during several environmental enforcement cases in Federal District, State Supreme, and local courts. Drew also helped create the voluntary cleanup program in New York State, which was a predecessor to the Brownfield Cleanup Program.
Steve Wittmann – St Landry Parish Goes Mobile
Steve Wittmann is a Senior Manager with over 40 years of experience as a consultant and principal in a design/build construction company. He has worked on landfill gas and biogas projects for over 35 of those years and is a nationally recognized expert in landfill gas management. Steve has managed numerous LFG migration control, LFG to Energy and biogas to compressed natural gas vehicle fueling projects, including the EPA LMOP Award winning St. Landry Landfill to BioCNG project.
Bodhi Piedmont-Fleischmann – Organics Legislation and Potential Impacts
Ms. Bodhi Piedmont-Fleischmann is an environmental engineer with experience in landfill cell design, transfer station permitting and reporting, and client administration. Bodhi has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Bodhi is a Board Member and Legislative Committee Chair of the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling representing the Mid-Hudson Region.
