MSW Landfill Mandatory GHG Reporting Rule Updates

EPA has recently issued mandatory greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting rules. Under the new rules, which became effective in January 2010, owners or operators of many municipal solid waste (MSW) landfills must report emissions from MSW landfills.
Cornerstone is tracking the rule closely and providing ongoing updated guidance to landfill operators on how to comply with the rule.

EPA has answered several longstanding questions in its new FAQ document, Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gases Rule New Frequently Asked Questions: Subpart HH, Landfills. In addition, USEPA has provided a template document for a best available monitoring methods extension request.
